2018 Ford Focus Redesign – Ford Focus was first launched in Europe in 1998 but came to North America for 2000 model year as a replacement for the Ford Escort and Mercury Tracer, his cousin. Despite being the “cheaper” models with headlights that are silly and wavy and interior rather excited, Focus a great success. The first generation model run until 2004 and won more than 60 awards during their useful life. Even found himself on a list of ten Best cars and drivers. Ford continues to improve the appearance and function of the overall Focus, and now in the third generation, with a facelift that lasts for the 2015 model year. With the current generation of six-year-old, not too surprising that our Spy photographers have captured what we believe to be the Ford Focus of the next generation doing some cold weather testing. Oddly enough, it was not under any kind of camo, and this looks very similar to facelifted Ford Focus which debuted in the year 2015. As if possible, there are still some significant changes-some of which may be hinting that Mule this is an old sport, altered the body as bait.
2018 Ford Focus Exterior
Soon, this is more like a facelift other than new generation 2018 Ford Focus. All these layers showed me that body parts welded together with extensions in Central fascias and hood. I’m guessing that this body has been deliberately widened to accommodate a wider platform underneath. Purportedly, it looks like the next focus may be slightly longer and wider. The body of this possibility is the bait used for testing new grounds or design new chassis. In this way, Ford can test new mechanical without releasing the slightest changes to body Focus next.
2018 Ford Focus Interior
The photos here are in no way reveal nothing about the interior, but even if they do, they will not represent the interior of which we will see in next-gen focus. Given the nature of the body combined, this Mule may have potentially barebones interior-modified from current generation to make the road legal car for testing purposes. When we get a new image from the interior, hoping to see the updated center console, an updated instrument clusters, infotainment screen and larger. Technology will probably be on par with the features available to other cars in the same segment with 2018 hits dealerships Focus.
2018 Ford Focus Engine
We only get a glimpse of the engine Bay photos of it, but I have reason to believe that Ford probably will test a new machine with this ass. I came to this conclusion by comparing the location of the machine and close the cover of the oil on the image. The cover of the machine looks similar to the Duratec engine cover on a Ford Focus 2015, but have very different forms, and its cover is in front and to the left of the lid of the oil at the current Drivetrain focus. Then again, it could be the engine that is currently used in other markets that not many I see. Ford Focus today, here in the U.S. can be owned by a four-cylinder 2.0 liter liters, three cylinder 1.0 litre, liter or 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine, depending on the trim where you see. The 1.0-liter producing 123 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque, while the 2.0-liter producing 160 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque.
Ecoboost 2.0 liter in pump Hatch H Rose 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, and 2.3-liter in pump RS Hatch issued 350 ponies and 250 pound-feet of torque. If Ford proceeded with the same engine, expect the pump light power for everybody, except the RS Hatch. I suspect that the 2.3 liter will remain untouched for now. If Ford test new machines, hoping to get it out in the range of 170 horsepower and 150 foot pounds. This output may be approaching the base 2.0-liter output current, but the new machines will likely bring better fuel economy.
2018 Ford Focus Price
In the U.S., the Ford Focus is currently available in eight different trim levels. The base model S Sedan trim starting from $17,225, with prices rising to $24,425 for the Ford Focus ST and $35.730 for the RS trim topping. Does anyone know what Ford will do as far as the price goes for Ford’s next generation, but if Ford brings a new chassis, a platform, or a new machine to the table, is expected to see a mild increase in prices. The starting price could increase to $18,000 after everything is said and done.
